Purpose

Ensure that the highest standards of financial and accounting principles are upheld both from global operations and local perspective. Support the management process of defining goals, planning and controlling and thus have a joint responsibility in achieving the business objectives.

The advertised position offers:

Key deliverables:

·  Drive and Deliver the achievement of quantitative (KPIs, Targets etc.) and qualitative targets for Global Operations Rotkreuz
·  Provide qualitative and timely reporting to Global Operations (Monthly Outlook, Actuals)
·  Provide qualitative and timely reporting to business partners (Instrumentation, Consumables, BGE and Direct Procurement)
·  Close collaboration with other main international sites (RDI, RDG & RDO)

Key Responsibilities:

·  Contribute to ensure transparency of results, processes and contribute to higher economic effectiveness
·  Provide relevant financial and non-financial information to the business partners
·  Support the target setting, budgeting and forecasting for the areas of responsibilities
·  Closely monitor the actual business performance (targets vs. forecast vs. actuals) of the own area of responsibilities
·  Supporting business partners in analyzing the results and identifying potential actions
·  Responsible for Planning and Actual monitoring of CapEx projects ensuring the highest standards in applying Divisional and Group Guidelines
·  Respect compliance with all relevant Roche guidelines and policies (FGAR and divisional manuals)

To be successful in this role you fulfill the following criteria:

·  University Degree and3-5 years of work experience in Finance
·  Fluent English and German
·  Fluent in Office Applications (especially Excel and Powerpoint)
·  Knowledge of Finance, Accounting and Cost control principles
·  Knowledge and Experience of SAP R/3 is a plus
·  Business acumen and judgment, strategic planning and entrepreneurial orientation towards value creation
·  Organized, dynamic, with personal initiative
·  Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
