ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

FINANCIAL REPORTING, FORECAST AND ANALYSIS

·  Ensure smooth and timely month end closing process in partnership with Roche Shared Services Operations team and local Accounting team
·  Support the Head of Finance to drive the affiliate's long term and short term financial plannning and forecasting process, including monthly outlook, business review and other ad-hoc processes
·  Monitor and analyse actual progress versus forecast, identify and analyse deviations with meaningful insights, propose action plans to business leaders and management on key focus areas.
·  Maintain an oversight of financial targets for respective business leaders and provide business partnership to ensure affiliate delivers on its overall financial targets

FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNERING

·  Develop a deep and thorough understanding of Roche business, and its relative positioning and strength in the market, keep up-to-date on changes/trends in the business/industry environment, contextualise challenges and provide autonomous financial leadership and robust commercial support to business leaders and management team to drive decision making, risk management and to deliver on business performance
·  Be at the heart of the business to support the development and implementation of the affiliate strategy towards Roche Group ambition through Collaborative Partnership with local Business Leaders and providing both financial and commercial advise and insights on how to maximise revenue, profitability and efficiencies
·  Be a facilitator of finance in the business and translate between finance, business and operations to ensure all levels understand how to create measurable value.
·  Continuously explore new avenues with business team to bring value to customers
·  Ensures all affiliate decisions are guided by objectives, strategies and priorities
·  Deliver and support the finance strategy by driving a consistent and rigorous financial business partnership approach by ensuring that Finance is closely integrated with the business
·  Act as a catalyst for change and inspire, coach and lead the Finance team to enable their transformation journey, enhance their business acumen, and to drive excellence in business partnership
·  Network and collaborate within the affiliate as well as high level of engagement with the wider Roche networks at Global and Regional level to co-create solutions to drive excellence in finance business partnership and to create an impact through learning & sharing
·  Have a deep understanding of affiliate's business processes and operations and drive
·  initiatives to simplify processes and adapt new technologies with the aim of being more
·  agile to drive and create value
·  Be a champion for new ways of working by demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit,
·  enterprise thinking, experimental and continuous improvement mindset.
·  Guarantee the company's license to operate by ensuring compliance according to all
·  finance, tax, legal and governance policies and regulations
·  Act as key point of support to Head of Finance and, deputise as required
·  Other ad-hoc finance business partner activities

REQUIREMENTS:

·  Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance (CMA, CPA, MBA all considered pluses).
·  Managerial Experience in a multinational company (healthcare industry preferred) with at least five years of relevant exposure in Finance Business Partner roles
·  Strong business acumen and proven track record to partner with business leaders
·  Strong exposure to, and appreciation of, risk management from a commercial perspective.
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think and act autonomously
·  Effective communication and team skills combined with strong interpersonal and negotiations skills to influence stakeholders and support decisión making. Fluency in Thai and English is required.
·  Possessing strategic agility to maneuver through ambiguity and changes in a dynamic environment and proven track records to adapt and execute operational strategies and
·  deliver results accordingly.
·  Demonstrates high levels of enthusiasm, drive and energy, with passionate commitment to Roche's values, vision and behaviours
·  Possesses intellectual curiosity and a continuous learning mindset, constantly challenging the status quo and demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit, enterprise thinking,
·  experimental and continuos improvement mindset.
·  Demonstrates effective leadership and coaching skills to all stakeholders and able to lead by example
·  Skillful to work in network and cross-cultural teams
·  Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills, savvy with technology and business intelligence tools to analyze financial and operational information and drive efficiencies in finance business partnership. A working knowledge of SAP, Tableau, CRM tools is preferred
