ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Have a deep understanding of users, including personas and archetypes/modes, and their relation to unique and holistic user journeys

· 
Knowledge of user-centric design processes and methodologies

· 
Promote the style guide and enforce visual design consistency.

· 
Employ a user-focused mindset to advocate for the user throughout the design process.

· 
Track source files and versions of documents.

· 
Collaborate closely with digital marketing team, products team, events and external communications team

· 
Use a customer service approach to accommodate changing dates, priorities, and styles.

· 
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills , knowledge in graphic production process.

· 
Work well with tight deadlines in a team environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· 
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.

· 
Knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, techniques, and applications relevant to the field of promotion and advertising.

· 
At least 5-7 years senior design experience with extensive knowledge of the principles of print, typeface, color, layout, and production techniques

· 
Proficiency with graphic design software, including all facets of Adobe Creative Suite including Sketch and Invision

· 
Experience working on client projects

· 
Keep clients, key colleagues, and Communications Office leadership informed of any and all adjustments to delivery and costs.

· 
Desire to employ best design practices and to develop new bold ideas

· 
Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail in execution

· 
Confident, positive, energetic, professional and team-oriented attitude

· 
Superior interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills

· 
Must provide portfolio and sample of work during the interview or a link to their portfolio

Formal Training/Education:

· 
BFA/BA/BS in Graphic Design or related field

· 
5-7+ years of Digital Design Experience: Such as Visual Design, Interaction Design, Experiential Marketing, Motion Graphics, Game Design experience, web design, corporate branding and identity, typography, graphics, user-centric design , interaction and graphic design

Experience:

· 
5+ years of relevant professional experience, such as working with a design firm, an advertising agency or internal creative team

· 
Adept at designing across various media, with an emphasis on digital executions

· 
Fluent in relevant design software: all facets of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch and Invision

· 
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships

· 
Experience creating and designing content for social media preferred

· 
Nice to have: 3D modeling skills, 3D motion animation, Touch Designer

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· 
Strong organizational & time management skills; proven abilities to effectively manage & complete multiple priorities and projects.

· 
Demonstrated proficiency in managing more complex responsibilities, including integration across multiple functions and activities.

· 
Strong customer orientation and focus as well as proven track record in working with others.

· 
Strong communication and influencing skills.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel Requirement: Approximately 5% of time travel domestic and/or international.
