What is involved?

In partnership with Chichester University this 4-year Degree Apprenticeship will see you studying toward a Software Engineering Degree. Alongside studying toward your degree you will work as part of the Workflow & IT Team to deliver first class customer support by telephone, remote services and on-site (as appropriate). You will learn how to maintain and participate in systems and processes that ensure that Roche IT installations are supported 24/7/365 days per year.

Occasional travel to Europe and participation on 24/7/365 on-call rota is required for remote support and possible on-site visits. You will have responsibility for IT system support and integration, IT and workflow project implementation, training and IT consultancy to customers and other Roche business areas.

Who are you?

You will have good IT skills, be a strong team player and able to positively engage with customers and colleagues. You'll have good problem solving skills, high attention to detail and have a passion for building a career in IT. You will need a minimum of 2 A Levels in addition to 5 GCSEs (grade 9-4 or A-C) including Maths, English, IT and ideally a science related subject. You will also hold a UK driving licence.
