Richemont  is the holding company for 20 international luxury Maisons. The Group’s Marketing Services includes the  Market Intelligence  Department, which supports the brands and the holding by offering relevant, timely insights and key analyses on the luxury market and clients. Richemont is currently looking for a  Watches Analyst Assistant  (internship) to join the young, dynamic, and international Competitor Intelligence practice.

Role:

The Department provides an excellent opportunity to develop a strong understanding of the luxury market in terms of the major brands, as well as the different elements of their marketing mix (pricing, product, communication, and distribution).

The Watches Market Intelligence Assistant will contribute in the following capacity:

 

·  Reviewing the latest trends  in the luxury industry and the competitors’ strategic moves
·  Assisting the Market Analyst in the creation and redaction of  in-depth reports on specific topics relating to the watchmaking industry  for Group and Maison top management. E.g. SIHH reports, transversal analyses on specific product categories, or on a specific brand
·  Assisting the Market Analyst in the creation and redaction of  ad-hoc analyses answering to specific requests from Maisons
·  Participating in the redaction of an internal newsletter  distributed to over 3,000 employees

 

Profile:

·  Strong interest in luxury – up-to-date with current trends in the luxury market
·  Fluent in English with a good level of French
·  Strong computer skills (proficient command of PowerPoint and Excel)
·  Comfortable with figures
·  Highly detail–orientated, strong time keeping skills, efficient, autonomous
·  Passion for market research, employing proactive and persistent approach and attitude
·  Capacity to consolidate and summarise information from varied sources
·  Student with a ‘Convention de Stage’
