  MAIN PURPOSE

This position is a Coordinator role that will support the activities for in-store events and visual merchandising for the Maison. 

This role is dedicated to creating a unique and quality “Van Cleef & Arpels experience” for clientele and to enhance brand image through both events and visual merchandising projects.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Visual Merchandising Administration

·  Boutique visual merchandising control. Ensure that all products are well displayed in each boutique, with right PLV and zoning from the merchandizing team. Display check by Yoobic operation. Plan the visual assortment based on the zoning plan by the operation team.
·  Plan & Implement OTC and boutique window decoration. Based on the strategy from headquarters, provide the appropriate direction to the vendor and make a proposal plan for further validation from headquarters.
·  Visual merchandising administration & PLV supply control. PLV order & maintenance, new seasonal displays, display stock control of boutique.

 

Planning and implementation of events

·  Plan and implement events for Van Cleef & Arpels, including boutiques, high jewellery invitations, commercial events, boutique fairs in the department stores in coordination with cross-functional teams and headquarters in Paris.
·  Effectively supervise suppliers and agencies.
·  Organize all logistics required for events effectively.
·  Control cost estimation and budget for each project.
·  Support and assist In-store Event Manager.

Requirements

·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in visual merchandising/event project coordination in luxury or fashion industry.
·  Language: Japanese (native level) and English (business level). 
·  High level of communication skills.
·  Sense of creativity, positiveness, activeness, flexibility, and spirit of teamwork.
·  Skills to write appropriate and sophisticated messages for invitation cards for events and fairs
·  IT literacy is a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator, Vector works)
·  Skills in technical drawing
