REGIONAL TRAINER - NEW YORK

 

OVERVIEW

Responsible for execution of company training programs for specified territory to communicate the Maison message and to effectively help teams to evolve strategic selling skills and after sales service management techniques.  Empower retail and wholesale boutique staff to grow sales, elevate client experience, and ensure a consistent boutique experience.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Manage and support the implementation of all coaching and training related activities in the region in coordination with manager. Program topics include, but are not limited to sales generation, client experience, maison heritage, product knowledge, and after sales service
·  Enhance quality and maintain integrity of the maison image by training/coaching the sales associates in all aspects of service and selling. Will conduct classroom trainings, conduct individual coaching and role plays; assist with actual client sales, and events as appropriate
·  Partner with store management to train and coach boutique staff to provide the highest level of customer service to support the growth of sales revenue. In partnership with manager and Retail department, coach the performance of store management teams to maximize and best leverage the individual talents of their staff.
·  Work to enhance and refine the ability of VCA sales staff to reach, develop and expand client relations in new ways to achieve and exceed sales targets, as needed and in partnership with CRM team
·  Provide detailed recaps for all store visits and work with store manager to develop action plan for next steps based on visit findings; support with implementation of action plan as needed
·  Partner with manager to develop and disseminate content that meets the ever-changing demands and challenges of the business
·  Facilitate inductions to properly integrate new team members into the Maison
·  Organize, administer and deliver training modules to retail and wholesale staff as needed. Handle initiatives in obtaining appropriate equipment, room set up, timeliness, organizational skills, being prepared for all eventualities, and successfully coming up with creative solutions when issues may arise
·  Manage, track and adhere to regional T&E budget as provided by manager. Plan monthly schedule in accordance with business needs and budget adherence
·  Analyze and regularly report to management on all programs and performance within region. Liaise with management to create a culture of transparent communication across all channels
·  50% - 75% travel may be required

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Bachelor’s Degree in a related business field preferred
·  3 – 5 years’ experience in Training/Learning & Development.
·  3 – 5 years’ experience in Luxury Sales & Management
·  High level of selling skills knowledge, and presentation skills
·  Gemmological knowledge and luxury brand management is preferred
·  Competency in Chinese and/or French a plus
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
