WE RECRUIT:

 

Reporting to the Production Manager of Pelletteria Richemont Firenze (PRF) and in close collaboration with the Maison’s Brand Performance Manager, the dedicated Production planner will be responsible for all production activities linked to one specific Maison. The production planner assures operationally the feasibility of the Maison’s production plan (range and novelties for Mid/Long Term) and guarantees with his daily actions the targeted OTIF rate for the Maison in the short term, whilst respecting the level of quality and cost objectives of the Maison.

 

The production planner will collaborate on a daily basis with the manufacturers that produce items for the Maison, with the Maison’s operational teams (R&D, Operations, Quality) and PRF internal teams (procurement, industrialization, R&D for Materials and finished products).

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Management of the entire production process with external manufacturers:

·  Detailed scheduling and follow-up of deliveries at SKU level, with manufacturers and Maison’s Operations:
·  Animation of weekly follow-up for in-range products, with update of portfolios
·  Animation of daily follow-up for strategic novelties, with fast problem solving methodologies
·  Coordination of production plan with subcontractors not managed by manufacturer (embellishments, transformation of leather, …)
·  Definition of short term priorities for capacity allocation at manufacturers, as well as logistics portal, according to the Maison’s commercial needs.
·  Orders editing to manufacturers
·  Regular coordination (at least once a week) with buyer for availability of raw material & components (in-range and novelties products), to ensure constant feasibility of production plan. Alerts manufacturers and proposes alternative solutions if late deliveries or quality issues.
·  Assures, with each manufacturer, a reporting of real consumptions of material vs BOM (including scrap rate). Alerts Production Manager and R&D Material management in case of deviations and follows implementation of action plans with the manufacturer.
·  Monitors rejection rate for finished products (and semi-finished) and their impacts on production plan. Organizes the transfer of scraps (finished products, components) for destruction. Collaborates with logistic teams for managing the flow of returns and reparations.

Leads projects novelties in PRF during industrialization and production phase:

·  In close collaboration with the Production Manager, definition of the industrialization and production planning, in collaboration with PRF teams (R&D, production) and Maison’s teams (Operations, Development teams), and, with the selected manufacturers, proposal of the appropriate capacity and production window for each novelty.
·  Follows the milestones of novelties projects all supply chain teams (arrival of components, tools, initial samples, pre-series, production deliveries …). Participates in weekly meetings with Maison’s teams (development, operations). Alerts management in case of deviation and leads corrective action plans in his scope of responsibility.
·  With supply chain managers and PRF teams, consolidates cost sheet for production and coordinates with Maison’s teams.

 

 

In charge of the mid planification activities (MPS process) in PRF:

·  Runs the monthly cycle of planification in PRF, in collaboration with manufacturers and Maison’s Operations teams:
·  Prepares and validates with the Production Manager the analysis of load and capacity for range and Novelties (in pcs and hours). Proposes to the Production Manager alternatives in case of overload or potential lack of production
·  Prepares and participates in monthly operational meetings (MPS) with Maison’s Operations and R&C Buyer.
·  Synthetizes the agreed plan for the whole planification timeframe after MPS meeting. Alerts R&C Buyer of major changes vs. previous cycle.
·  With support of the Production Manager, animates monthly meetings with each manufacturer for capacity validation, action plans follow-up, fixing of issues and KPI reviews.
·  Operational follow-up of countertyping activities with manufacturers and Maison’s teams (Quality, Operations …); animation of the weekly routines inside PRF with follow-up of all operational milestones to meet the agreed planning for countertyping.

 

 

Responsible for industrialization and production KPI follow-up

·  Edits weekly and monthly KPI
·  Diffuses KPI and associated analysis to internal PRF teams and to Maison’s operational teams on regular basis.

 

 

Responsible for Master Data Management of finish products in Supply Chain team:

·  Data input of all necessary information regarding master data of each individual article and definition of production batches
·  Updates data (BOM, MOQ …) with production feedbacks at any time during life cycle of the product; validates with the Maison the modifications that have impact on costs.
