Main Purpose

This position will support operations by monitoring and analysing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organisation. Ensures master data compliance and integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.

 

Key Responsibilities

·  Ensure Daily SAP master data operation is smooth and as control gate to ensure supporting documents, level of approval and system tools to be used are compliance with company standards
·  Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency of master data across business systems
·  Pro-actively monitoring and analyzing all master data objects for continuous improvements on the cleanliness of data including controlling data redundancy
·  Document and communicate clear regional guidelines to APAC markets.
·  Resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards
·  Perform regular business-related activities e.g. data quality review, data clean up, system user profile maintenance, dashboard reporting
·  Participate in projects and initiatives to facilitate across multiple functional areas and regions
·  Work closely with the business / IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operation of the application meet all requirements.
·  Provide training and conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders / other departments
·  Be an advocate for continual improvement within the end and end processes, with a focus on data quality
·  Support internal audit process through required documentation and analysis as required
·  Leading and provide support to MDM specialists when needed

 

Qualification Requirements:

·  Minimum 10-12 years’ experience working within a multi-cultural environment, 2+ years’ experience leading others (direct or indirect) and working cross-functionally with senior leadership 
·  Previous knowledge around SAP, Workflow or Authorizations is a plus
·  Able to understand and investigate topics related to multiple business areas
·  Analytically minded and methodical problem solver
·  Very good interpersonal skills with excellent customer service and “can do “mentality
·  Process orientation and user satisfaction attitude
·  Ability to multi task and execute plans/deadlines in a dynamic environment
·  Exhibit critical thinking / problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
·  Strong written and communication skills in English language
·  Travel within APAC on project basis
