JOB TITLE: Operation Manager/ Assistant Manager
REPORTING TO: Regional Brand Director
LOCATION: Hanzomon Office, Tokyo

MAIN PURPOSE              

The Operation Manager is responsible for analyzing & forecasting the stock needs in order to secure a wealthy stock level in line with the targeted budget and ensure the optimal merchandise assortment in both Retail and Wholesale pos.
He/She will be also in charge to provide reporting and analysis on several supply chain KPIs to the Brand Director, HQ and Boutiques.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibility 1:  Planning & Forecasting
- Sales forecasting in line with the marketing strategy and Retail sales target for model stock implementation, replenishment and customer orders
- Monthly and weekly forecast review with Central Supply Chain team.
- Plan Novelties launch quantities
- Prepare KPIs presentation for Brand Director
- Negotiate allocation with headquarters, get information on products delivery
- Share information about new product delivery/ stock status/ shortage within the Team

Key responsibility 2:  Analysis
- Provide analysis on specific Stock/ Sales/ Supply Chain topics for all merchandise categories
- Propose stock/ supply Chain optimization for other departments (POS material…)
- Participate to Budget process

Key responsibility 3:  Merchandising and Pricing
- Support Sales Teams with model stock tools and define seasonal stock increase/ decrease according to yearly events
- Implement new pricing, propose price adjustment when necessary
- Participate in new boutique opening/ renewals and plan orders accordingly

Key responsibility 4:  Business process improvement
- Support all department by providing process and technical expertise (SAP, Booster, etc.)

Key responsibility 5:  Sales administration
A list of back-office related tasks is provided separately. This responsibility is shared with the Sales Administration staff, both the Operation Manager and the Sales Admin are responsible for day-to-day business continuity and should be fully interchangeable.

PROFILE:

Education:
-University degree

Experience:           
-More than 3 years of experience in forecasting, planning/analysis management in retail business
- Experience with computerized forecasting/order control system

Skills:
- Advanced Excel Skills (Familiar with PC operation)
- SAP Skills is a plus
- Very good at working with numbers
- Good planning and analytical skills
- Business fluency in English (TOEIC 800+) and Japanese.
