MAIN PURPOSE

The Digital Project Coordinator position is part of Cartier’s International Digital Operations Department. More specifically, this position is part of the Digital Project team. This team is in charge of organizing and leading a variety of digital projects that lend to the overall development of Cartier.com.

 

Projects pertain to: 

·  Website design
·  New concept development
·  Online navigation
·  Contributing to the betterment of the Cartier.com experience from a user experience point of view

 

The Digital Project Coordinator is responsible for analyzing project impacts and assessing overall business needs. The individual is in charge of defining project scope, goals and deliverables. There is an important role in interfacing between the project and business areas. Project Coordinator must be able to direct daily activities and efficiently collaborate with both internal and external partners in order to manage business development.

 

The digital Project Coordinator will focus on topics relating to design, navigation and overall website functionality. This individual will work closely with Marketing, Communications, Studio Photo, Cartier Heritage and eMerchandizing teams for projects pertaining to product launches, Maison image and consistency in content quality.   

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Needs Assessment & Project Pre-study
·  Introduce “technology thinking” or a “systems perspective” into our projects in order to take business needs to a technology work plan.
·  360°vision of cross company requests/projects in order to take into consideration potential impacts and identify opportunities for alignment

 

·  Project Management
·  Coordination with internal & external partners (agencies, internal departments)
·  Development of Project brief, definition of project milestones and retro-planning
·  Respecting project deadlines, anticipating constraints and meeting quality expectations 

 

·  Project Reporting and Meeting Management
·  Weekly and monthly Steering committee presentations
·  Project status, both large-scale and detailed views
·  Use of project tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

·  Five years’ experience in a project management position. Individual must be comfortable working in an international setting with a complex ecosystem.
·  Good interpersonal skills & effective communication - Ability to synthesize, simplify & prioritize information
·  Previous experience in front-end design
·  Previous eCommerce experience is required
·  Budget management
·  Practice using technologies such as Jira or Confluence
·  Fluent English
·  AGILE methodology is a plus
·  Experience with headless architecture is a plus
·  Familiarity with HTML is also an advantage
