At the same time, we are committed to innovation and designing new products which are in keeping with our Maisons’ values, through a process of continuous creativity.

MAIN PURPOSE

Richemont has a strong ambition to transition to a New Retail business model, which will be heavily powered by Big Data. In this context, the Group has established a global data strategy which is currently being implemented. In particular, the Group is investing in state-of-the-art cloud-based data architecture and infrastructure which is hosting multiple data projects of its Maisons and entities. A Group Data Competence Center is being formed in the HQ organisation to welcome data scientists and incubate new projects.

The Data Scientist will support data science initiatives across the Group in order to accelerate the implementation of the Group Data Strategy. The scope will include (but not be limited to):

·  Project Management:
·  Translate business requirements into data requirements
·  Support Maisons, Functions and Regions in Data Science projects
·  Data Science: build and implement machine learning solutions as data products creating business values
·  Data Visualisation: build interactive and dynamic data visualisation solution for business stakeholders 
·  Data Science Community Animation:
·  Support Data Science Community by providing best practices and promoting clear Data Science methodologies
·  Organise brainstorming sessions across departments to identify high potential initiatives across the Group

 

PROFILE

Education and previous professional experience

·  Master's Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems or related field
·  Data science/ Data analysis experience with a leading player in the field
·  Strong programming skills on Python/ R and SQL
·  Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modelling
·  Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

 

Other skills

·  Self-starter; ability to operate in a changing environment
·  Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau or SAP Analytics Cloud)
·  Knowledge of Data Science platforms and tools (e.g., Dataiku, Google Cloud Platform)
·  Team oriented spirit and strong ability to learn

 

Languages

·  Fluent English
·  French a plus
