Job description

Compliance Testing

Our compliance and monitoring teams ensure that our clients comply with national and global regulations, and IT best practice. By conducting manual and automated testing of their systems, we can help protect large businesses against the costs of non-compliance.

Customer Management

Operate’s customer management team help our clients deal with complaints, as well as run remediation programmes where we put right what’s gone wrong. Whether in response to a regulator’s instructions, or because of high volumes of complaints, our redress teams are often quickly deployed to deal with financial services scenarios.

Business Operations

Business Operations provides a range of services to the wider PwC firm worldwide and to our clients. Through the provision of immigration support and employee screening services, our team make sure our clients can onboard their employees and comply with immigration rules quickly.

Contract Solutions

When regulations or the market changes, organisations sometimes need to update the contracts they hold. Operate’s Contract Solutions team combines technology and regulatory expertise to help our clients ‘repaper’.

Financial Crime and Customer onboarding

Our customer onboarding and lifecycle team ensure that our customers comply with Anti-Money Laundering regulations. This includes during the onboarding process and when regulations have changed meaning that banks have to undertake checks on current customers.

Technology Solutions

Our Technology Solutions team is made up of experienced IT project managers, developers and testers who help implement large technology change programmes.

Finance Solutions

Our finance team work with a range of clients to plug gaps in their finance function, or deliver time-limited projects where specialist finance knowledge is required. In some cases, they even perform part or whole of a client’s finance function for them.

Enablement is an operations function dedicated to the smooth running of Operate. We are responsible for making sure we’ve the right number of people with the right skills to support our client projects. We focus on ways to provide a consistent, positive experience to our Operate team members by organising events, sharing news, creating opportunities for people to connect and learn more about the business. We do all this while also taking action to make sure we remain commercially focussed and mitigate our risks.

OpTech is a multidisciplinary technology team within Operate dedicated to delivering and managing solutions across all lines of service. Our focus is on solving your problems, using specialist technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence and data analytics to create efficiencies and drive revenue growth within your business unit.

A position on our School and College Leaver programme is one of the best ways to kickstart your career with PwC. All of our apprenticeships are designed to help you develop your business skills through real client work, while also completing formal training and studying towards qualifications to give you a head start in your career. You’ll be coached by our people, who are experts in their field, and at the same time, thanks to our study support, you won’t need to worry about paying for course and exam fees, textbooks or revision materials.
