Job description

People & Organisation (P&O)

In P&O you’ll help some of the leading UK and international employers make the most of their biggest asset – their people. It’s such a diverse area, you could work on projects helping business leaders define their HR strategy, through to advising clients on how to improve the effectiveness of their workforce. Or help senior executives understand their global personal tax obligations, to implementing cutting‑edge technology in the HR space. You'll work on projects across all sectors of the economy, providing vital support to clients. And whatever you work on, you'll learn about employment tax risk, employment cost reduction and employer social responsibility. You could work as part of a number of specialist areas within People and Organisation:

Our graduate training programme is underpinned by a development framework that broadens and deepens your knowledge. You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, picking up business, personal and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.

What you'll do

Our Reward and Employment team helps clients ensure the way their employees are rewarded encourages their retention and ensures the way they act is in the best interests of their company, customers and shareholders. The team will review a client’s business strategy and create a reward strategy to suit. They also ensure all pay structures are implemented correctly and in compliance with tax and other rules.

The Global Mobility Services (GMS) team works closely with global companies to assist in moving their people around the world. Moving assignees globally can be complex and costly for organisations and the GMS team works with clients to develop strategies for global mobility, tax and social security advice for their mobile employees, and provide the necessary tax compliance services. You'll work on diverse projects across all sectors of the economy, providing vital support to clients. And whatever you work on, you'll learn about employment tax risk, employment cost reduction and employer social responsibility.

What you'll gain

ACA CTA joint qualification

You'll spend the first stage of your career learning about our business and developing key skills. For many roles, this will involve building your business, personal and technical skills by studying to become a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) or the Chartered Accountants of Ireland (CAI), as well as a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) through a joint qualification.

What you'll need

You'll need to have or be on course for a 2.1 degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course for a 2.1 based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.

Do you need a work permit?
