TheProcter & Gamble Company is seeking Senior Data Scientists (multipleopenings) for our Mason, OH location. The ideal candidate must apply mastery inStatistics, Data Science, Computer Science and Quantitative Marketing methodsto deliver game-changing, technology-driven mathematical models for developmentof innovative new products and processes. Create new algorithms andmodels to measure the impact of product, package, commercial and otherinnovation choices to guide investment decisions. Enable better decision-makingthrough the ability to mine data coupled with the development and applicationof advanced analytics and algorithms to derive actionable insights, and thentranslate those insights into actions that improve business results.Actively research best-in-class methodologies, such as leveraging ideas fromstructural models, discrete choice models, and empirical game theory. Beimaginative and creative with an eagerness to track and contribute to thelatest developments in modeling and to envision application possibilities ofemerging technologies in data science & machine learning. Influence theproject team to take action based on the model results.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Must possess a PhD or foreign equivalent in quantitative marketing (management), statistics, data science, mathematics, economics, or a closely related field with dissertation research in the area of Bayesian methodology and 2 years of work related or academic experience in model development. Experience must include: definition of model requirement; development of model specification, implementation of the specification in simulation environments, and verification and validation of models; programming languages and analytical tools in a wide variety of real-life applications in a corporate setting including: r, python, C++, java or Scala; Bayesian nonparametric methods; hierarchical Bayesian models; probabilistic modeling and computation; discrete choice models; machine learning; data mining; optimization; simulation; statistical modeling; and experimental design. Up to 2% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to one day per week.
