Then join us for our PhD Seminar, where you can find out how to leverage your acquired academic skills to make products Consumers love. A technical career at P&G could be what you're looking for!


Why join the PhD Seminar?
• You visit our German Innovation Center, meet our scientists and engineers and ask them all your questions.
• You get a chance to see how our scientists innovate our superior products.
• You will get to practice the skills needed to be successful by collaborating with other international PhD Students and experienced R&D managers.
• You will gain insights what a typical day of a Scientist or Engineer in R&D, the daily challenges of the business and the career opportunities in R&D look like.
• You will discover if a career in an industrial company like P&G could be right for you.

During the seminar you will be able to practice:
• Technical knowledge to address real problems
• Making difficult and tough decisions
• Setting priorities
• Communicating ideas
• Motivating people and teams
• Working as part of a team

Status today we are planning to hold the seminar at the German Innovation Center in Schwalbach and Kronberg near Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from Monday April 26th to Thursday April 29th, 2021. Accommodation, meals, and travel to and from the seminar are paid by us.
We will decide at a later stage if we need to run the seminar partly or fully virtually due to Covid-19.


Qualifications

Who can apply

The Seminar is open to Science and Engineering Ph.D. Students in their penultimate or ultimate year of their Ph.D.
Disciplines considered: Natural, Life or Physical Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Other Engineering disciplines.
Your graduation should be by December 2020 or later.

Application deadlines:

UK November 24th, 2020.
All the other European countries (including Russia) January 31st, 2021.

Please be aware that the selection process will start earliest in December 2020.

Seminar Attendees and others who pass our initial requirements will afterwards be considered for interviews for full-time positions in one of our Innovation Centers in Europe.
