This role is a one year post-doctoral position and seeks a PhD Polymer chemist with substantial practical experience inpolymer synthesis, polymer characterization, and other polymer physics toolsthat can be applied to elucidate structure/property correlations inbiodegradable polymer development. The successful candidate will be aninnovative problem solver as supported by peer-reviewed journal publications,and as appropriate, patent filings. Preference will be given to thosecandidates who have demonstrated cross-discipline collaboration with diverseteams and delivered holistic solutions for significant technical challenges.Design polymers and synthetic routes to produce polymeric materials todetermine structure/property relationships; Characterize polymers (MW,polydispersity, rheology, thermal properties) and interpret functional tests ofpolymers in formulated products; Understand industrial/commercial feasibilityand potential supply chain (should-cost, registrations and regulatoryrequirements).

Qualifications

Education:

We are looking for someone with a PhD degree in the field of Polymer Chemistry.
