P&G is seeking a talented and experienced paralegal to join its Legal organization in the Labor & Employment Law practice group. The candidate will be part of a small team (3 attorneys) and be responsible for: managing requests for advice from HR professionals; conducting legal research; monitoring state and local employment law developments that impact organizational policy; opening and maintaining case files, including budget management; drafting various correspondence and legal documents; preparing and maintaining exhibits and case documents, including coordinating e-discovery; and administrative tasks, as requested. The candidate will work directly with clients to solve problems creatively and determine how best to manage the client’s legal needs across critically important, as well as challenging and rapidly evolving, legal spaces. The position requires strong cross-team collaboration and coordination with business clients, multi-functional partners, and legal colleagues. The position is located in P&G’s corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree is required; a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.

Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:

A successful candidate must have:

·  Prior experience with a law firm, in-house, government or other legal department.
·  Meaningful experience in a litigation setting preferred; prior employment law experience is a plus.
·  Knowledge of legal holds and discovery processes.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and very strong problem-solving skills.
·  Analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
·  Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is needed.
·  Proficiency with Serengeti, or similar case management database is a plus.
