Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT system engineer to join our IT team at our London Manufacturing Site. You will be working across multiple functions to define and deliver infrastructure improvements, whilst also maintaining the day-to-day running of plant IT systems.

Detailed Responsibilities:

·  Incident Management & Resolution: Demonstrate accountability and ownership to lead most technical incidents to resolution and work with the regional team to resolve more complex or cross-technology incidents.
·  Maintain Operations – You actively plan and execute all tasks to ensure maximum availability and performance of applications and infrastructure components in a production environment.
·  Solution Design: Single point of contact for IT service related projects, working with internal and external resources to develop and optimize proposals to deliver site requirements.
·  Project Implementation: Responsible for implementing and leading IT change for the plant (review, approve, control quality of execution), including supervision of 3rd party resources as required.
·  Project Management: Responsible for all aspects of delivering small projects, including scope definition, funding, procurement, change management, installation and training.
·  Continuous improvement: Find opportunities to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the IT/OT operations and work closely with IT Operations Leader & P&G Technical Service Provider to deliver the agreed continuous improvement plan.
·  Stewardship: Support execution of IT Cybersecurity Assessments and responsible for timely closure of the issues with quality. Support internal controls audits on all IT topics.

Qualifications

·  IT knowledge - a minimum of 5 years of previous IT experience in supply chain or network solutions. The minimum requirement for application is a relevant degree or industry certificate in Information Technologies or Computer Science.
·  Teamwork - you will work in a small team, supporting a large production site, with several different areas of responsibility. The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams, functions, and organizations will be essential to perform successfully in the role.
·  Risk Analysis – Ability to analyze the risk to operations vs. the cost to prevent it and develop standard methodologies with policy-makers on IT Continuity standards.
·  Ownership & Accountability – High level of capability for independent work, priority setting and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to flow to the work depending on business situation.
