Main Purpose of the Job
·  Supports the understanding of shopper attitudes / behaviours and in-store conditions to identify growth opportunities for PepsiCo Benelux business
·  Brings voice of the shopper to business opportunities identification, provides business recommendations based on shopper and retail insights to enable decision making process and flawless execution of brand and sales short and long term priorities Accountabilities
Shopper Insights Foundations

·  Supports to drive the Shopper Insights agenda in the organization, builds solid shopper understanding and foundations, making sure that Shopper Insights is a part of decision making process in the organization by leveraging retail and shopper insights into strategic and operational recommendations
·  Maintain accumulated Shopper knowledge and continuous Shopper data sources (HHP, retail panel etc)
·  Runs on-going and ad-hoc shopper/retailer research addressing strategic business questions based on the short and long term business priorities. Translate data/research results into meaningful insights influencing business decisions
·  Support relations with Europe Insights Teams (Consumer Insights, Strategic Insights & Channel Insights)
·  Key focus areas are Super- and Hypermarkets & Ecommecre (channel level) and Chips & Nuts (category level)
·  Conducting analyses on multiple data sources and the combination of data sources (e.g. GfK, Nielsen, Online Surveys, European Insights studies, Euromonitor) to identify threats and opportunities
·  Shopper & Channel Trends
·  According to the short and long term business agenda, supports the evaluation of shopper and channel trends to identify growth opportunities, to build PepsiCo Benelux competitive advantage
·  Defining Strategic Shopper Opportunities
·  Identifies strategic Shopper opportunities by category and key customer. Transforms holistic data sources into actionable insights and knowledge that influences decisions:
·  Support the total Commercial teams (Category Management, Revenue Management, Shopper Marketing & Perfect Store), Marketing and Sales workstreams with in-depth Shopper & Retail insights, inputs and data (e.g. Shopper Value Offer, Cat. Vision, Shopper activation)
·  Identify key Shopper opportunities per brand, category and channel
Trusted Advisor
·  Contribute to trusted advisor status, influence customers’ strategic decisions and shopper agenda through F2F / virtual interaction


Key Skills Required:
·  University degree. Master Degree in Business/Marketing/ Market Research/Sociology is preferable
·  2-3 years Insights experience in a leading FMCG company (retailer or agency experience is a bonus)
·  Knowledge and practical experience with a wide scope of research methodologies and techniques (qualitative & quantitative)
·  Understanding of analytical tools and knowledge of statistics
·  Experience in Household Panel data is a plus
·  Experience managing research Budget
·  Fluent English
·  MS Office – advanced user (PowerPoint, Excel)
·  Responsible for 2 markets (Netherlands and Belgium) and therefore acquired to travel between the 2 countries on regular basis (1-2 days a week) Differentiating Competencies Required
