Are you ready to work as a Reporting and Field Support Sr. Analyst for our business in Portugal? This is a key role for our success. You will be responsible to support Southwest Europe small MU’s (Portugal, Italy) for financial Reporting remediation plans (e.g. legal entities cleansing in HFM, accounts reconciliation, audit findings, etc) and during specially stretch closings (examples through time: HFM special reporting, calculation of concentrate profit, etc..). On top of that the role also covers the responsibility of the Portugal D&A accruals. He/she will also lead FR projects (e.g. new FR tools, New CoA roll-out, etc).

Accountabilities:

MEC activities support – HFM

·  Monitor and reconcile costs in general accounting and in balance sheet in order to provide reports to BU and to management effectively partnering with internal partners as well as 3rd party SSC when applicable (e.g. IBM in Italy).
·  Effective engagement with SSC to ensure flawless execution of Financial Reporting processes, ensuring an accurate MEC.
·  Ensure the accounting, analysis and reporting in HFM is performed in compliance with US GAAP and Local accounting principles, following Pepsico Financial policies as well as aligned with Tax Models (SwissCo, Concentrate, etc).
·  On the execution of its work is accountable as well for accounting and monitoring of local Tax and Statutory compliance.

Balance Sheet Monitoring and Reconciliation

·  Monthly monitors balances details prepared by 3rd party SSC for his/her competence area
·  Performs a quality check of BSR template (e.g. analysing releases vs. previous years) in coordination with MU FR Supervisor
·  Supports the MU Control or Finance Manager during Balance Sheets review preparation

Support to FR projects and others

·  Leads / supports projects in the Financial Reporting area (e.g. new FR tools, New CoA roll-out, HFM upgrades, etc)
·  Support in Cash Flow and Working Capital critical metrics
·  Executes and monitors Key Controls and GCS activities as per GCS accountability model and provides information to internal and external auditors
·  Supports elaboration of ad-hoc requests coming from Sector or from the BU management.

People Development and Capability Building

·  Collaborates with Control Managers to build capabilities, skills and competencies in the team, implementing SWE standard methodologies.
·  Trains new comers in the FR function (in all 3 SWE countries)
·  Strongly and effectively collaborates with Planning Team, Sector FR and SSC for all MEC activities, FR ad-hoc requests and BSR follow-ups.

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
·  Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting and US GAAP
·  Strong functional background in Finance and Control
·  English Proficiency Level
·  Experience with Data Analytics
·  Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, modern integrated SAP system)
