Job Description

GPE Finance plays a critical role in forecasting, reporting and controlling direct materials cost, which represents ~40% of PepsiCo ESSA P&L. FP&A analyst will be dedicated to the following areas within GPE Finance:

· 
Support data management automation and GP reporting (within Directs and Indirects Finance) by developing / maintaining current complex technical models while contributing to systems improvement projects

· 
Provide strong technical (VBA macros, databases) and business support through different available analytical models to GP Finance Business Partners, including preparation of presentations.

· 
Support Direct Material business forecasting process during all financial cycles (Monthly Forecasting, Annual and Strategic Plans).

· 
In partnership GP Finance Business Partners lead actual Purchase Price Variance (PPV) analysis and reporting process

· 
Support Monthly Productivity Council and Productivity/Commodity Inflation reporting to Corporate as well as Monthly Periodic Business Reviews (PBRs).

Support Productivity agenda by becoming SME of PowerSteering (PS) (both for Directs and Indirects) and ensuring correct reporting

Accountabilities:

· 
​Provide ongoing support to forecasting process: Annual Operation Planning, 5 Year Strategic Plans and Monthly Forecasts. The analyst will perform detailed checks and reconciliation of internal GPF databases and systems, validate completeness and accuracy of the data inputs and outputs. Interact on the daily basis with the Finance BPs overviewing integrity of total ESSA reporting.

· 
Support Productivity planning and reporting processes (Directs and Indirects) by becoming a Productivity Subject Matter Expert. Maintain Productivity reporting system (Power Steering) and support its functionality development. Periodically extract data and provide technical analysis of the Productivity projects. Enforce reporting compliance to PEP Productivity Framework by having periodic reviews with BPs. Prepare ESSA monthly Productivity Council reviews in collaboration with GP.

· 
Owner of Actual PPV process, including calendar build-up, communication to the Finance BP teams and various technical checks. Monthly interaction with Finance BPs to understand variances vs. plan/forecasts. Ensure proper reporting is performed by each single plant in ESSA.

· 
Support monthly PBR (Periodic Business Review) process. Will be in charge of building the deck (and loading into GPF Cockpit Tableau cube) and analysis of financial drivers and trends across ESSA by BU, Category and Commodity Materials.

· 
Support Finance BPs to prepare Financial Planning reviews (presentations) to BU CFOs and GPE Leadership team. Support GP Finance CFO and FP&A manager with ad-hoc analysis requests.

· 
Support and implement improvements to enable automation and better quality data within various system / databases GPF is using: Cognos TM1 IBM, Cockpit (Tableau), PowerSteering, internal databases, VBA models.

Qualifications/Requirements

· 
Advanced skills in MS Office - advanced Excel user is a must including knowledge of macro commands (Visual Basic for MS Excel).

· 
Advanced skills of database management / SQL / COGNOS / Tableau is highly preferred.

· 
Finance background with FP&A in a multinational company (1 to 3 years)

· 
Good commercial / strategic / analytical skills and understanding of business drivers.

· 
Natural interest in IT / improvement toold as well as economy and macro trends.

· 
Able to work under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines while at the same time displaying attention to detail. Ability to manage and execute multiple concurrent tasks to meet deadlines.

· 
Be a self-starter and able to work autonomously as well as being flexible.

· 
Fluent in written and spoken English.
