Job Description

Main Purpose:

·  Develop and implement Procurement strategies for Logistics Services (predominantly transportation services) in Poland;
·  Identify current year and pipeline of key productivity projects/initiatives within Logistics Services, develop and align these with stakeholders and suppliers to deliver sustainable year on year productivity agenda;
·  Deliver on productivity targets for Logistics category in Poland by executing agreed sourcing events/initiatives;
·  Capture the value delivered from any procurement led or supported initiatives and ensure full alignment of productivity delivery with stakeholders and finance;
·  Engage with key stakeholders for successful implementation of sourcing projects;
·  Drive excellent supplier relationship management including monitoring supplier performance, creating innovation and productivity pipeline and managing supplier review meetings;
·  Actively liaise with Global Procurement Category teams, roll-out best practices, participate in global projects;
·  Follow logistics market trends and take proactive measures to reduce costs; Accountabilities:

·  Work with Sector Logistics Procurement team and functional stakeholders to develop a 3-year purchasing strategy, relevant for POLAND, for the Logistics category (with main focus on transportation services), ensuring a solid long-term productivity pipeline (3-5% from the spend) through category expertise development and market insight. Ensure full adoption in POLAND of any Sector/Global led Logistics purchasing strategies;
·  Lead transportation sourcing events, using appropriate e-sourcing tendering tools.Maintain procurement coverage of 100% through credibility and trust with internal stakeholders, PepsiCo procurement community and suppliers;
·  Ongoing strategic supplier relationship management and suppliers performance evaluation (including set-up preferred supplier rosters, monitor and track supplier performance, external benchmarking, corrective action and escalation processes);
·  In close collaboration with Sector Logistics Procurement team leverage logistics spend across logistic operations to drive significant, sustainable improvements in cost, quality & service to support the Operations productivity agenda in Poland;
·  Improve category expertise and market intelligence about Logistics services in Poland;
·  Develop and share best practices via effective networking within and outside PepsiCo GP community;
·  Track and report the value delivered from Logistics Procurement initiatives, and fully align with stakeholders;
·  Control and governance for Logistics services under responsibility including full contractual compliance;
·  Apply Global Control Standards in the processes under his/her accountability, comply with GP Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated, and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls;

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Skills/Experience

·  Logistics (Transportation) background is essential. Food and Beverage logistics experience preferred;
·  A strong background in Logistics Purchasing within FMCG environment (6 years+);
·  Master Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering;
·  Expert Knowledge of Logistics / Transportation Market in Poland is a must;
·  Ability to lead strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and total cost of ownership;
·  Excellent communication, influencing & aligning skills;
·  Role requires a combination of strategic thinking & executional excellence;
·  Results orientated – comfortable identifying, setting & delivering against stretch targets;
·  Ability to manage a high level of diverse projects simultaneously;
·  Excellent business acumen, knowledge of financial fundamentals and strong analytical skills;
·  Ability to interact with key stakeholders and build trust at all levels of the organization, including Board / Exec level;
·  Able to manage ambiguity – working within a complex, fluid, organizational environment with limited data visibility and diverse processes;
·  Must be able to act autonomously, develop, manage and lead own agenda and take decisions;Languages: Polish + fluency in written and spoken English;
