Job Description

Purpose:

Guarantee availability of all raw and packing materials for production, from the contact with suppliers, replenishment planning and schedule, follow up and acceptance in plant. Assure the right inventory control warehouse for all raw and packing materials. Assure SOX controls for all receipts, transfers and cyclic inventories.

Responsibilities:

·  Guarantee the right inventory in plant for all raw and packing materials.
·  Assure daily raw material inventory levels visibility.
·  Comply with monthly inventory controls & finance levels.
·  Guarantee the right controls in the Raw Materials warehouse to complain the Pepsico SOX standards.
·  Responsible for the proper storage and rotation of raw material (FIFO)
·  Audit weekly inventory to assure accuracy of Raw Materials.
·  Guarantee the material replenishment to the warehouse in coordination with Logistics
·  Manage the material logistics to avoid demurrage fees
·  Expedite orders with suppliers when required.
·  Achieve well control when audited
·  Ensure a work free of overtime and meal time costs and a healthy rotation of employees.
·  Maintain a positive, safe and productive environment.
·  Maintain active execution in LSS agenda executing projects during the year.
·  Ensure are completed all corrective actions related to the food safety.
·  Comply with regulations 21 CFR 117 Federal Code and USDA.
·  Meet the FSSC22000 and customers Food Safety applicable regulations, such as AIB.
·  Comply with PepsiCo Food Safety Policy and ensure compliance by their subordinates.
·  Stay updated with the GMP’s, put them into practice and ensure that the employees meet them.
·  Assure compliance with Environmental department SASS.
·  Supervise 4 employees in the warehouse: 3 materials handlers and 1 Inventory Clerk.
·  Optimize costs by minimizing materials adjustments or damages by the right control and management in warehouse.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications:

·  Bachelor of Industrial Engineering or Materials Management.
·  Three years or more of experience in related work.
·  Analytical skills for replenishment process
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
·  Computer knowledge and SAP inventory management
·  Knowledge of all Federal Regulations for food industry and Good Manufacturing Practices.
·  Full availability of days and hours of work.
·  Language skills, ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents.
·  Reasoning ability to apply common sense to handle problems involving multiple situations.
·  Excellent interpersonal skills, management employees, orientation and customer service.
Physical demands:

·  Acute vision for inspection of the plant.
·  Ability to load and push weighing 50 pounds or more.
·  Ability to work in temperatures above 90 degrees.
