Leicester is the heart of PepsiCo UK. Our factories there produce millions of packets of great tasting Walkers crisps every day. It’s already a great plant but our ambition is to make it even greater. We not only want to be the largest crisp factory in the world, we want to be the best.

PepsiCo is looking for Environmental Supervisor, to coordinate a team to ensure our adherence to our environmental management programme, including our adherence to our environmental permits and KPIs. The role will be leadingthe environmental agenda for site – raising environmental agenda and engagement for employees at site.

What you’ll be doing:

·  To drive site compliance with Environmental Health and Safety Legislation and operates within the internal GEHSMS (Global Environmental, Health and Safety Management System) and the UK Focus Top Risks and the external ISO 14001 standard.
·  Own multiple standards across the Environmental, Health and Safety GEHSMS model – as defined by Manager.
·  Internal GEHSMS element auditor including audit management and preparation.
·  To provide guidance on all environment related matters and give information, advice and coaching on relevant legislation and internal EHS systems.
·  To lead site OA teams in the site QCDM processes
·  To assist the site EHS team, Management team and Duty Holders and to drive the EHS culture within the site.
·  Own the Environment Safety Action Team (ESAT), ensuring legal obligations are met.

Qualifications/Requirements

What you’ll need

·  Requirement for General NEBOSH Certificate and IEMA Environmental certificate. Preference for training and experience with various types of risk assessment and environmental Aspects/Impacts assessment. Willingness to complete NEBOSH diploma
·  NEBOSH General Certificate
·  IOSH Managing Safety
