about the role
Incident Management
Key point of technical escalation in the event of a major incident
Performs regular reviews of incident reports, to identify candidates for Problem Management
Change Management
Attend the CAB regularly
Detailed planning of complex changes to the environment
Risk assessment and validation of Change tickets to be applied to the environment

Primary Skills: Java, JRE, J2EE, Apache Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic, IBM Websphere, Solaris, Unix/Linux, Scripting - Shell/Perl/Bash/Python/VB Scripts/Powershell, Microsoft IIS, JBOSS, .NET, XML, VTOM, EAI Webmethods, Oracle client, Jonas, Docker, Oracle and SQL Server.
OS and Infrastructure : Windows 2008 and above, Solaris 8 and above, Linux RHEL, Veritas Cluster, F5 BIG IP, Legato networker, BMC BEM, Bladelogic, Jenkins, Witbe and Networking Skills.
Secondary Skills : Enterprise OS, Database and Compute, Backup Technologies, Hadoop/Big Data
Hands on experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness.
Experience in middleware administration covering installations, upgrades, patching data migrations, interoperability, single sign-on, security, load-balancing, and any other product related issues
Knowledge of Web Services and Services Oriented Architecture is desirable.
Requires extensive knowledge of Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server.

Educational Qualification :
Degree in Business, or Computer Technology.
Desirable: ITIL Certified, Weblogic Certification
Experience :
Minimum of 6-7 years of work experience in customer facing organizations within the telecom or IT industry specifically into Application Platforms, Development and Support.
Relevant experience required 5-6 Years.
Good level of practiced technical knowledge.
Experience in ITIL best practices for Incident management, change managerment,problem management and configuration management.
