about the role
Participate in detailed technical design, development, implementation and support of Big Data applications, using existing and emerging technology available on EDH platform.
Estimate of the level of effort for developing the User Stories
Work with large streams of data with tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
Unit tests, integration testing and end-to-end testing
Development of associated testing tooling.
Automation and industrialization of the regular tasks or operations (build process; testing; software code quality audit; software containerisation, …)
Deliver software delivery package (devops mode)
Technical support, corrective and adaptive maintenance of the software components delivered
Collaborate and work in an agile team environment
Consult with technical leaders, architects and team members on technical design approaches … You come up with new ideas about the technical solutions implemented.
about you
Experience: 3+ (relevant)
Knowledges about offers and features of Big data technologies (Hadoop, Hortonworks or others distributions)
Knowledges about Linux, Unix, Windows environments
Good experience of development using Spark Scala, Java, JavaScript, Nifi, Kafka, Hive, Hbase
Experience of Devops tooling : Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, SonarQube, GERRIT, SBT, Nexus, Docker
Experience of AGILE methods (Scrum, Kanban)
Elastic Search/Kibana (ELK) knowledge would be a “plus”
