about the role

Support and drive key NIA access migration programs to successful implementation on schedule and within budget achieving projected savings. Assist on the management of communication with project stakeholders and external customers. Coordinate with global sales and operations and where necessary with Orange customers to facilitate the successful migration of services respecting Orange obligations to our customers. 

Planning Support:

·  Follow up regarding the connections which doesn’t have dedicated CSMs (maybe contacting the account team or End User Local Contact –LCON)
·  Follow up with CSMs who are late providing feedback via workflow tools (e.g. NAOMI)

Implementation Support:

·  Follow up with CSM when there is a need for new information (i.e: new LCON needed, implementation scheduling)
·  Follow up with CSM when LDM and AOM asks support when requests go unanswered by end user/local contact.
·  Help on scheduling the migration when LCON is not providing support.

Functional:

·  Responsible for meeting assigned project deliverables, while minimizing risk and achieving set schedule & financial objectives.
·  Provided visibility into the status and progress of activities, linkages, and dependencies across the organization.
·  Prepare and perform oral and written presentations to peers, project teams.
·  Support the individual team members with decision-making authority for the projects assigned.
·  Issue weekly/monthly reports, as required.
·  Coordinate, compile and present ad-hoc reports as required.

Other (if applicable):

·  Provide high quality project management for Optimization projects which lead to significant Monthly Recurring Charge (MRC) savings for Orange Business Services. Liaise professionally with Sourcing, CS&O AOM, FOIS, Sales, Finance, and other teams to ensure migration timetables are met. These projects have an international scope and require a good knowledge of PTT and local customs to proceed with high efficiency.

 

·  The PM must have a good working knowledge of newer technologies that may be used in migrations projects such as MPLS, IP Remeshing, MPLS Gateway implementation, etc.

 

·  Establish external interlocks and procedures between CM COMM team and CS&O AOM, FOIS, and Sourcing, to enable all teams to operate with full awareness and consensus for optimization and migration activities.

           

·  Provide a link between the Business Case and implementation to ensure resources are available to support many concurrent projects. Escalate problems and process gaps quickly to ensure proper visibility is given to cost savings targets. Capture and track all installation costs and penalties (e.g. penalties due to PTT for disconnecting circuit prior to contract date).

 

·  Provide detailed financial results of the project including MRC savings, applicable penalties for disconnects, etc. Use Excel to create progress graphs.

           

·  Track all disconnected circuits to ensure they are removed from the PTT invoices and all Orange Business Services tools are updated.

           

·  Chair regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure project progress and escalate to management any potential delays well in advance of target completion date.

           

·  Analyze optimization related CM Business Cases for timeline feasibility. Can the optimizations and migrations be reasonably completed within the stated time targets? What are the roadblocks for success?

           

·  Create and distribute monthlyreport to selected M2 level and related teams that clearly and concisely provides optimization and migration metrics which indicate project owner, progress, cost savings, optimization related costs, roadblocks, and other subjects as requested. Provide a graphical representation of important metrics to enable busy readers to quickly gauge project status.

 

·  Discuss and attend meetings with key stakeholders to gather all their requirements and then trigger new projects in NAOMI tool.

about you

·  University degree or equivalent experience in telecommunications
·  3 years professional experience in international telecommunications business.
·  Project Management skills and/or certification (e.g: PMP, Prince2, …)
·  Technical skills & good expertise Ethernet, and IP.
·  Good communications and interpersonal skills
·  Fluent in English, both written and spoken, Another language is a plus.
·  Flexible, self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure with the ability to take initiatives
·  Agile and capable to work in virtual team environment
·  Power BI, Proficient in Excel (formulas, macros etc), Word, and MS Access. Understanding of Orange Business Services products and/or circuit provisioning tools (e.g. SESAM, OPAS, GINI, and FILEADE) is a plus.
