Job description



about the role

·  Provide presales design support for low to high level complexity solutions for both new and existing global customers requiring Orange Business Services and Solutions, managed infrastructure, cloud and application services or Integration Services contracts in support of sales. Maintain end-to-end solution integrity across the products and services sold to customer.
·  Support sales in positioning billable consulting work to customers when such services will facilitate progression towards or closure of Orange Business Services Managed Service and/or Integration Service contracts. Maintain a thorough understanding of the external tools that are required in conjunction with internal tools, systems and processes in order to develop quality / approved technical proposals to customers.
·  Develop, documents and make recommendations on large scale virtualization deployment using best practices, methodologies and tools to achieve target ROI faster and lower costs.
·  Team with dedicated enterprise sales specialists to identify key accounts, assist in the creation of account plans, and carry out those strategic plans.
·  Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of all Orange Business Services products, services and solutions sets Contribution to the Knowledge Management - Bid Management Repository Based on specific skills and project assignment work activity could be focused at the regional, territory or local level Secure as required additional resources to accommodate specific customer requirements in accordance with Orange Business Services established processes and policies.
·  Ability to interface with customers as required in support of internal sales, operational personnel, or established third party relationships.
·  Ability to communicate across all levels of customer organization right from customer operations to customer CXO audience
·  Expected to act in a coaching role and provide support to less experiences team members.
·  Financial - in order to encourage skill growth for career development and support expansion / strengthening of teaming the presales consult can have a billable revenue target based on the level and area of subject matter expertise.

about you

·  Knowledge and experience in IT Infrastructure & Middleware Architecture, Data Center Transformation (P2V- V2V), DC Migration and Modernization, Cloud Services, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), DevOps, Enterprise Portal, E-Commerce and Digital Transformation.
·  Extensive experience in System Integration and implementing Infrastructure Solutions Middleware & Database Solutions for large enterprise clients
·  Experience in Solution Design and implementation of Infrastructure, Clustering & High Availability Solutions.
·  Experience in performing Data Center assessment, planning, design and migration from physical to virtual and implementing hybrid cloud
·  Experience with Virtualization software like VMware, Network devices like Nexus 2k,5k and Storage like EMC VNX and VPLEX
·  Experience in designing back-up solutions using Veritas, migration strategy using Double Take software and AWS Server Migration Service, replication using Veritas Volume Replicator (VVR).
·  Experience with provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Compute, Storage, Networking and Database.
·  Experience with Solution design of IBM, Oracle & RedHat Middleware stack like IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere Portal Server, Oracle WebLogic, Service Bus, Red Hat JBoss EAP Servers, Web Server, AMQ and array of IBM products - Data Power, ETL, Portal Server, BPM, HTTP, Connections, FileNet, IIB, Omnifind and MQ servers.
·  Experience with Container platforms like Docker & Kubernetes
·  Good knowledge of TOGAF and ITIL Framework
·  Passionate to acquire latest skills and knowledge to enhance my productivity as Solutions Architect. Taking up POCs for new technologies like Block-chain Middleware and partnering with different product principals.
·  Worked on most of the popular Operating Systems including RHEL, Solaris, AIX, AS400 and Windows.
·  An eloquent speaker with excellent coordination skills
·  Good knowledge in network systems, communications interfaces protocols, circuits, hardware and diagnostic tools
·  Strong Business Acumen
·  Strong customer service and customer oriented attitude
·  Strong presentation skills
·  Results oriented
·  Excellent diagnostics skills, critical thinking and good ability to resolve problems quickly
·  Willing to travel

additional information

·  A relevant degree with minimum 8 years related work experience in customer facing organizations within the telecom/network and IT industry (CCIE preferred but not mandatory)
·  Ability to engage and partner with customer at a detailed technical level deliver solutions which provide high value throughout the full life cycle of the contract deliver high value, billable consulting services as appropriate identify and develop key partner and vendor relationships as required to deliver fully integrated solutions
