about the role

To provide Presales design support for network connectivity and solutions, for both new and existing customers, in support of the Presales and Sales teams.

Be the top Subject Matter Expert for network connectivity, access and solutions, for Asia Pacific countries.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the tools that are required in conjunction with systems and processes in order to develop quality / approved connectivity solution proposals and pricing to in-country PreSales and Sales teams.

Help qualifying customer needs with the account teams as a component of the overall solution design to build competitive and profitable solutions for our customers. 

Contribute to the success of deals and bid process. Support RFI / RFP / RFQ requirements from target accounts.

To act as a connectivity solution expert to identify access needs, set expectations and engage appropriate.

Sourcing resources depending on bid profile

Contribute to the Knowledge Management - Bid Management Repository to grow quality reusable documentation to improve productivity and efficiency in network proposal development.

about you

l Subject matter expert in Network Services related technologies and services. Extensive knowledge of MPLS based Private VPN solutions and design. Design experience with CPE Platforms and Suppliers including Cisco Systems.

l Expertise in access / local loop technologies such as Leased Lines, TDM, DSL, ADSL, Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity methods.

l Working knowledge of Application Management platforms like Cisco, Ipanema and Riverbed and their impact on traditional network service design and performance.

l Engineering Degree or Business Degree or any Graduate required or equivalent work experience.

l Language proficiency - must be able to write, read and speak in fluent English

 

l Ability to engage at a detailed technical level as follows :

 

 

• engage and partner with internal team members at a detailed technical level

 

• deliver proposals which articulate Orange value for the benefit of the customer

 

• understand key partner and vendor products as required to deliver fully

 

integrated solutions

 

• Technical knowledge to facilitate design of managed services

 

• Ability to work independently to achieve an outcome

Education and Experience Requirements

l Minimum of 3-5  years of related experience in designing global network solutions and proposal development for large mufti-national customers

 

l Valid Riverbed RCSA certification & CCNA certification is an advantage

l Ability to engage and partner with customer at a detailed technical level deliver solutions which provide high value throughout the full life cycle of the contract deliver high value, billable consulting services as appropriate identify and develop key partner and vendor relationships as required to deliver fully integrated solutions
