Orange Money is looking for a new colleague to help design effective, efficient and scalable software financial solutions.

You will work on Orange Money platform which is the mobile money service of Orange Romania. This platform provides its customers a wide range of services such as: e-wallet associated to their mobile phone number, money transfer, debit card, loans, topup etc..

The colleagues with whom you will interact are senior software developers, business analysts, project managers, quality assurance engineers, Ops teams and product owners.

Your work will impact the digital experience of over 10 million people, and counting.

What you bring:

·  Ability to work independently
·  Good communication skills (we enjoy chatting :D )
·  Good knowledge of the financial IT systems
·  Experience in designing/implementing micro-service architecture
·  Project management experience (software development projects)
·  Deep understanding of distributed systems
·  Experience with asynchronous driven architecture 
·  Proven experience working with Java and Spring, caching systems (REDIS) 
·  Deep understanding of messaging systems, preferably with Kafka.

What you'll be doing

·  Develop high-quality software design and architecture for the applications and micro-services necessary to support the business
·  Implement optimization solutions on the current architecture
·  Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
·  Responsible for the architecture (definition and validation) of disaster recovery and business continuity for the solutions used by Orange Money
·  Produce system design specifications, flowcharts and documentation to determine technical solutions
·  Evaluate and select appropriate technology stack, software and hardware and suggest integration methods
·  Communicate system requirements to software development teams
·  Estimates implementation effort and costs; contribute to and comply with project plans
·  Comply with company and industry standards for coding and design
·  Contributes to the hand-over to production by delivering the necessary documentation and is involved in reviewing and optimizing the production architecture in collaboration with the colleagues from IT Operations
·  Produce systems/platform evolution strategies, approaches and plans
