VFX Coordinator, Local language - LATAM
The VFX coordinator will be partnering and providing direct support to the VFX Manager across a variety of duties spanning all projects in Latin America from pitch to play. We are looking for self-motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone proactive, team-player, effective communication, intuition, and good judgment.
Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Track progress of shows
· Help maintain the VFX work up to date and keep track of deadlines.
· Set-up and/or take notes during all meetings, maintain weekly agendas.
· In partnership with the Manager, VFX helps design, standardize, and implement new workflows, tools, and tracking methods for projects to ensure transparency of progress.
· Lead external partner and vendor onboarding process to Netflix tools and best practices.
· Maintain folder structure, organization, and tracking of documents for all Latam; project and VFX department documentation.
· Ensure that documents, concept art, and shots are flowing into the correct applications and folders for each series
· Promote and maintain appropriate naming convention for both media and folder management
· Sync with post-production to set up reviews where necessary
· Maintain up to date notes on current and potential international vendors
· Facilitates VFX reviews with creative teams and relays feedback as needed.
Requirements
· Minimum 3-5 years experience working as a VFX Coordinator on TV/Film or Animation projects.
· Bilingual in both English and Spanish
· Working knowledge of Google Apps, Shotgun
