Job description

You’re the glue that holds a team together. You're cool under pressure and comfortable with change. You enjoy variety in your day-to-day and love working with different types of people. A natural organizer; you pay attention to the details that others often overlook. You keep the team on track and are always two steps ahead. You are the person others turn to to get things done. Does this sound like you? Are you looking for the opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-performing team of creative thinkers who are changing how films and television shows are made? If so, we’re looking for an experienced Research Ops manager to partner with our UX researchers, studio product designers, internal operations, and external agencies to coordinate our global research efforts.  Because we are in a niche market, you’ll need a keen ability to foster relationships and make connections in the industry, a creative mind, and a heavy dose of ingenuity to establish a pipeline of research participants for our insight-hungry design teams. Your mission is to facilitate technically excellent research which delivers extraordinary insights.
·  Partner with researchers and product designers in the studio product innovation team and your operations peers to plan and execute multi-method global qualitative, quantitative, and UX research programs.
·  Gather, make sense of, and communicate research goals and context from cross functional teams to third party partners such as research facilities, independent moderators & translators, videographers, research agencies, designers, etc.
·  Coordinate research program logistics including: on-boarding vendors and partners, writing, programming and sending niche-market screeners and surveys, coordinating localization, reviewing profiles and quotas and leading in-field technical requirements and location coordination, and managing incentives, when applicable. Correct course whenever needed.
·  Secure participation from limited pool of participants in entertainment for research efforts. Lead recruiting, scheduling and confirming participants - both internal and external. Will be responsible for reducing duplicative efforts across teams, avoiding over-taxing individual participants, and organizing research outputs.
·  Planning and coordinating informal research events (e.g roundtable dinners, lunch and learns), focus groups, lab days, and advisory boards both in-house and in-situ, when applicable.

Make every future a success.
