Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Location: Whittier, CA

What You’ll Do:
· Provide process engineering services for the Whittier Distribution Center
· Process design and sustainability solutions
· Assist in the development of continuous improvement initiatives focused on:
· maximizing DC utilization
· improving service to our customers
· reducing costs
· Participate in site level strategic planning and facilitates action on these plans for solutions being developed
· Provides technical expertise for warehouse system designing and updates, helps to facilitate and drive process and product flow and supports process compliance across all distribution center operations
· Help troubleshoot operational issues and perform root-cause analysis
· Collect data and perform analysis to provide recommendations on operational improvements
· Assist in the development and implementation of process implementations
· Evaluate labor productivity utilizing labor management tools
· Assist in the maintenance of engineered labor standards
· Assist in maintaining labor management application configurations
You’ll Need to Have:
· Current collegiate major, BS or equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management (or related field)
· 2-4 years of experience facilitating process change and labor standards in a supply chain environment within either a manufacturing or distribution environment
· Experience in managing and facilitating change management initiatives across all levels within a distribution center environment
· Some experience in developing or working with engineered labor standards
· Knowledge of Warehouse Management and Labor Management systems (Manhattan WM and LM preferred)
· Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology

· Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
· Data analysis skills, competent in Microsoft Excel, Project and Visio, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Functional skills using AutoCAD a plus
· Strong organizational and project management skills
· Strong “service” orientation to internal stakeholders and constituents
· Excellent at building relationships
· Ability to work independently
· Excellent communication skills
· Bilingual English and Spanish language skills a plus
