Scientist - Upstream Manufacturing

Your role

The Scientist role within the Upstream Manufacturing team is responsible for performing cell culture and molecular biology techniques to support creation of antibody raw material. This individual must be able to work independently to perform routine cell culture tasks, ELISAs, and reagent preparation in accordance with GMP regulations.

 

The ideal candidate has experience with cell culture and sterile technique and is eager to work as a team to meet departmental goals and deadlines. In addition, this individual’s daily tasks may include immunohistochemistry (IHC), antibody downstream processing, equipment maintenance and laboratory housekeeping. The Upstream Manufacturing team supports production of antibody products for use in in vitro diagnostic (IVD) IHC.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Undergraduate degree in life science discipline (i.e. Biology, Biochemistry, etc.)
·  1+yrs experience with general laboratory equipment such as pipettes, microscopes, centrifuges, and biological safety cabinets

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  1+yrs experience with cell culture techniques
·  2+yrs experience in a manufacturing/production environment
·  High level of attention to detail
·  Knowledge and experience in a GMP facility
·  Knowledge of SAP
