R&D Scientist Proficiency Testing

 

Your Role:

 

Responsible for developing and evaluating new Proficiency Testing products in the laboratory for the R&D group. Coordinating R&D activities for Proficiency Testing at Millipore Sigma’s Buchs, Round Rock and Darmstadt sites. Complete projects while meeting firm deadlines. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required, as you will interact not only with other R&D unit but also with multiple groups including Marketing and QC functions. You will rely on your knowledge in chemistry to resolve issues within the PT sample preparation and apply your mathematical knowhow for troubleshooting result and statistical anomalies.

 

Who you are:

 

Basic Qualifications:

·  BS in Chemistry

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Strong technicalbackground in chemistry with lab experience.
·  A background in statistics is desired.
·  You will need to have strong troubleshooting abilities and be task motivated.
·  Ale to communicate effectively between multiple internal and external groups within the project as well as to the customers.
·  You must be able to adopt easily to changing situations and new systems, work well in a team environment, and provide technical support.
