Quality Control Scientist

Your Role : You will be responsible for performing blood typing serological and biochemical tests within a GMP Quality Control Laboratory and support the manufacture of blood typing reagents. You will perform testing on raw materials, intermediates and finished products, and participate in the stability programme for blood typing reagents. You will work as part of a team and perform activities for the general maintenance of the laboratory. You will be working within a small team in a fast-paced regulated environment (ISO:13485) where an excellent eye for detail, ability work to deadlines, and experience in working with SOP's are essential.

 

Who You Are:

·  A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a GMP manufacturing or Laboratory testing industry
·  Be qualified to Degree level in a science discipline such as Biochemistry, Immunology or relevant Life Science.
·  Have knowledge of Microsoft packages (such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and the principles of data integrity
·  Previous experience working within Blood transfusion services would be a distinct advantage
