Job Description: QC Supervisor

 

PURPOSE OF JOB:

To provide management of the department responsible for raw materials, work in process and finish goods testing to ensure conformance to customer, regulatory and company requirements. To provide leadership to use outcomes (testing results) of the Quality department to decrease variation and improve quality in the production process. This position involves direct management and develop the QC personnel.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

·  Conducts conformance testing for raw materials which are used for production for approval according to company requirements and department inspection plan.
·  Organize and supervise product testing to ensure the workflow efficiency and procedure accuracy.
·  Ensures compliance to ISO/GMP system and other regulatory requirements in QC department operations.
·  Train and develops QC personnel as needed ,leads the change and improvement in the department through the development of personnel to meet personal performance and department objectives.
·  Keep continuous improving such as smooth the workflow in the department aids to decrease cycle time for releasing of product, increase testing efficiency.
·  Utilize system of quality documents for recording maintenance, calibration and usage of equipment and instruments as directed by manager.
·  Support the site NPI (New Product Introduction) programs within QC department.
·  Cooperate and coordinate closely with other functions as needed.

 

Requirements:

·  Bachelor degree or above in chemistry or biology or equivalent.
·  10+ years QC plus 2+ years managerial experience in biochemistry or life science industry.
·  Demonstrated ability to lead improvement efforts and realize positive change.
·  Good English skills at reading, writing and listening.
·  Good communication skills and team worker.
·  Good understanding of ISO and/or GMP.
