Packaging Tech 3

Your Role:

The Packaging Tech 3 at MilliporeSigma will stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label and over pack liquid or powder products per approved packaging specifications while utilizing all required safety equipment. Complete appropriate packaging documentation.

 

Other responsibilities include; retrieve materials from delivery locations, stage orders to be weighed, troubleshoot issues on the floor, communicate with sales team regarding rush or problem orders, communicate status of late orders to supervisors, perform material movements in SAP to complete orders and deliver finished materials for final QC.

 

Physical Attributes:

·  Lift up to 50 pounds
·  Operate equipment with both hands
·  Sit and stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive motions
·  See, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
·  Wear PPE including respirator, air helmet, safety shoes, Tyvek suits, apron, protective gloves, safety glasses and goggles.

 

 

Who You Are:

  Minimum Qualifications

·  High School Diploma or equivalent
·  2+ years packaging experience or 2+ years of automated equipment operation required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Experience troubleshooting automated equipment desirable.
·  Knowledge of SAP and data entry experience desirable.
·  Strong communication skills
·  Good time management and organizational skills
