Operator Warehouse 3

Your Role:

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, become developed, oversee and participate in daily Materials Management Supply Chain operations. Serve as a lead over one or more assigned warehouse functions; train and provide leadership work direction and guidance to assigned staff.

 

·  Understands and works within a broad range of guidelines, standard operating procedures and/or technical methods that involve a variety of routine work procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
·  Identifies and troubleshoot problems related issues in situations that are less typical or frequent and make judgments based on acquired technical skills, practice and precedents.
·  Understands the team organization and how the team collaborates with upstream and downstream operations to jointly achieve objectives.
·  Operates a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks; operate inventory management programs at an advance level; and assigned software to input data and generate reports.
·  Maintain warehouse operations in a clean, orderly, safe and secure condition that meets Warehouse Safety and OHSA standards; Represent the warehouse operation by interacting with internal and external customers and auditors.
·  Participate in activities to improve storage capacity, inventory management, warehousing procedures and warehouse efficiency.
·  Travel between warehouse operations
·  Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

 

Who you are:

Basic Qualifications :

·  High School Diploma or GED
·  1+ years of experience working with SAP WM and IM
·  3+ years of experience working Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, and Power Point

 

Preferred Qualifications :

·  Strong math skills including unit of measure conversion
·  OSHA approved forklift training
·  Thorough understanding of shipping, receiving, storing and issuing of supplies, equipment and chemicals handling; assures delivery in a timely manner.
