Medical Advisor GM&E - North and West Africa - based in Tunisia

 

Your role:

A great opportunity is available in the medical team across North & West Africa region. We are looking for a Medical advisor to act as Local Medical Affairs TA expert and support the Local TA leadership team in the development of TA, Launch and Brand strategies and lead the Medical Affairs Tactics.

 

Your responsibilities will include developing medical materials, reviewing marketing materials and trainings and ensuring scientific and clinical accuracy for a specific product or brand. As a medical advisor you will develop KTL scientific interaction plans on a national level, Support and conduct Local internal training and ensure continuous Medical education of team members and new employees working in the Local TA. Also provide support in the planning and tracking of the (TA-specific) medical budget
You will comply to relevant training and SOPs and manage Local TA specific CSS and serve as a liaison for ISSs

You will lead medical studies, assist to coordinate Local clinical projects and contribute to site selection for clinical projects. Lead Local publication process, publication dissemination and alignment with Local, Regional and Global publication plan. And Anticipate, interpret and share medical information with stakeholders

 

With your expertise you will provide training to HCPs and support in realizing Medical educational events. Identify and interact with key members of the Medical community (external experts including Healthcare Professionals and other healthcare stakeholders (access decision makers, government organizations and patient groups within assigned territory and TA, with given frequency and pre-defined metrics, in accordance with local regulations

 

Who you are:

• University degree (Bachelor’s) required, preferably in scientific field of relevance to position
• Secondary / advanced scientific degree (e.g., MSc, PharmD, PhD, DO, MD) required
• Scientific and / or clinical training in area of relevance to position strongly preferred. Plus clinical experience specific to therapeutic area preferred, advanced degree advantageous
• Substantial professional, clinical or research experience in a scientific or related field required (minimum of 2 years)
• Knowledge and experience of methodology of clinical research and Good Clinical Practice preferred
• Previous MSL or related pharmaceutical experience preferred
