Material Handling Supervisor

Your Role:

·  Hours are 8pm to 6:30am Monday – Thursday
·  Supervise 12-20 employees
·  Investigate common issues experienced by employees and make recommendations for improvements
·  Work with cross functional and cross shift teams to implement process improvements applicable to safety, quality and delivery in picking, boxing, and kitting areas
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, energetic attitude

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

·  2+ years lead experience or previous Supervisor experience
·  2+ years strong quality knowledge: GMP/GDP, ISO standards
·  2+ years previous assembly, warehouse or manufacturing preferred
·  Basic knowledge of computers
·  Basic knowledge of Excel and Word
·  High school diploma or equivalent required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Bachelors or Associates Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or Business preferred
·  ERP experience, SAP or Oracle preferred
·  Problem solving skills
·  Strong communication skills: Engage their employees, provide clear explanations of required tasks, strong verbal and written communication, communicate clearly with support functions and other departments
·  Strong leadership skills: Motivate employees and coordinate activities, handle any disciplinary issues that may arise
·  Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstance and the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
