Job description

Masterstudent Biologics Formulation Development Parenterals

We are looking for an energetic, motivated student (ideally Pharmacy, Biochemistry and/or Chemistry majors) to perform a master thesis in our parenterals research lab.

Our laboratory supports large molecule (antibodies) drug discovery and early development with formulation research, forced degradation studies, and candidate screening assays.  This research enables our molecules to move through in-vitro and in-vivo studies, leading up to first-in-human clinical trials.  The student in this position will work on a project for the master thesis with a focus on large molecules i.e. antibodies or antibody-drug conjugates. The student will gain experience in each of our core activities and will also gain experience using a variety of technologies needed to support drug discovery including high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometry, microscopy, differential scanning fluorimetry and protein-protein interaction measurements. This position requires basic knowledge of analytical instrumentation such as HPLC and accurate wet (bio-)chemistry techniques.
