Your Role:

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the operational L1/L2 tasks.

You will work and coordinate with third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of unix and linux projects.

you will execute/troubleshoot AIX / RHEL / SLES and High Availability related tasks and

propose service improvement plans.

Your role:

- As the company operates a 24x7 service, this role is intended purely for Night Shift (3rd shift – 09:30 PM to 06:30 AM IST) and weekend support
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Unix / Linux servers
- Working on Tickets / Creating RFCs / user management tasks / Patching linux systems and other L1/L2 support

Who you are:

2 to 4 years of experience into one of Redhat (RHEL)/ Suse (SLES) servers -  infrastructure support
High Availability Cluster solution – PowerHA / pacemaker activities
LDAP client / server operations
Experience with any two of Nim / Kickstart / SUSE manager / RHEL satellite/spacewalk
Shell scripting experience on at least one of these : ksh / bash / python / perl
Ability to work in complex and international remote teams and handle multiple tasks & projects simultaneously
ITIL certification, ServiceNow , HPSM desirable
Willingness to work in shifts (Rotational)
