Data Privacy Counsel

Your role

 

Acting as the business partner and counsel for data privacy in Brazil in exiting times. In coordination with Group Data Privacy, you develop, implement, maintain and improve the Data Privacy Management System and adopt it to new requirements in the Brazil, in particular under the LGPD. You act as a strategic driver for data privacy in a country with high responsibility for the entire group. You support and coordinate the local roll-out of global policies, processes, and guidelines and adjust them to the new and developing local requirements. You advise and report to the senior management in Brazil and serve as primary contact in data privacy issues. In addition, you keep an eye on local legal trends and interact with the global privacy network. You work with the competent authorities in relevant cases. You provide guidance to the departments of the company, develop new concepts for broader awareness, and negotiate with external partners and customers.

 

Who you are:

 

·  Graduate degree in law (or equivalent)
·  Experienced professional being acted in data privacy, preferably in a large company, law firm, or international environment
·  High level of knowledge in Brazilian privacy regulation, knowledge in European GDPR preferred
·  Business oriented in interactions with senior management and other stakeholders
·  Life Science, Healthcare or Chemical industry knowledge preferred
