Digital Technologies - Customer Success (Strategic Functional Capability) Senior Analyst - Newark, NJ

At Mars, the Strategic Functional Capability Senior Analyst role is part of the Digital Technologies team responsible for supporting a Strategic Functional Capability team focused on delivering Business Partnership, Development, and Deployment services for the global/cross segment Corporate Affairs and Legal functions.

What are we looking for?

·  5+ years of progressive experience in business enabling technologies
·  2+ years’ experience in defining and leading IT projects and change management activities for a global organization using diverse project mgt/delivery methodologies and approaches (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
·  Functional domain expertise in Corporate Affairs and/or Legal functions a plus
·  Experience and passion to work in a fast-paced environment that delivers value to the business quickly
·  Experience assisting with driving cultural philosophies, practices, and tools that increase an organization’s ability to deliver IT strategy and solutions at high velocity: evolving and improving products with speed, agility, and innovation.
·  Experience with high level of autonomy driving forward business change activities
·  Proven experience building strong working relationships with global stakeholders and understanding their needs through user centric design thinking approaches
·  Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend sound conclusions and implementation strategies
·  Budget Management experience is a plus

What would be your key responsibilities?

·  You will operate globally across segments and functions (Corporate Affairs and Legal) -partnering with segment Functional Experts and functional Business Partnership Managers to design, develop, and deliver leading process and IT capabilities.
·  To partner with SFC Senior Lead to bring in external/best practice insights & trends from vendors, analysts and peer companies to influence and drive business transformation at scale for Corporate Affairs and Legal capabilities.
·  Provide Corporate Affairs and Legal functional domain expertise to help drive design for new capability, data/application/information architecture, business case creation, program and process definition.
·  Collaborate with global/cross segment Corporate Affairs and Legal function and global business partnership community to drive forward global programs/projects as appropriate
·  Execute actions needed to deliver IT strategy for Corporate Affairs and Legal functions.
·  Drive iterative, agile projects that rapidly prove or disprove hypotheses and lead to value creation for Mars
·  Work through influencing and direct control depending on the nature of the activity.
·  You will also recommend/develop process & technology improvements and plays key supportive role in influencing IT strategy for Corporate Affairs and Legal functions
