The successful Regulatory Affairs Coordinator will be supporting the large regulatory affairs community within Royal Canin. doubled in the last few years. As the facilitator of the Royal Canin Regulatory Affairs community (more than 50 associates), the Regulatory Affairs Coordinator contributes to the capability building of the community, promotes the best practice sharing and maximizes opportunity & minimize risk by guiding business decisions based on regulatory insight and provide appropriate governance structure.

Key Tasks:

·  Organize & Animate Regulatory Affairs Community physical/virtual meetings and trainings
·  Contribute to the Regulatory Capability Framework Building
·  Coordinate the onboarding & training of new comers of regulatory affairs community
·  Drive regulatory affairs community for monitoring of new/pending regulations worldwide; challenge markets about anticipation/interpretation of new regulations; Promote the Mars Regulatory Monitoring tool
·  Coordinate and reports the regulatory challenges, regulatory changes, main activities of regulatory affairs worldwide to the key internal stakeholders, including but not limited to R&D, Marketing, Value Chain Operation.
·  Coordinate Total Quality Management for RPA function, along with the supervision of the Global Regulatory Affairs Compliance Officer
·  Coordinates and reports to Mars Inc the SRA Matrix
·  Drive the development of all training materials (e.g. e-learnings) related to the deployment of Regulatory Affairs processes
·  Be involved in innovation projects through New ingredient Regulatory assessment
·  Regulatory assessment of non-product related Off-pack materials
·  Coordinate the touch points with markets/Being the point of contact of the regulatory community

Your Profile:

·  M.S. or equivalent in a technical area, such as food science, veterinary medicine, food safety, chemistry, toxicology, nutrition, or other biological science.
·  1-2 years of experience in R&D, Quality or Regulatory Affairs role of lifescience related sector
·  Knowledge on animal feed/petfood regulations
·  Fluent English Is a must have for this job. French Is a plus.
·  Degree/training in law or regulatory affairs would be a plus.
·  Strong communication-, analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
·  Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision, in a fast paced environment
