Job Purpose:

Manage the day to day business unit needs related to QMP Audits (internal audit and food safety relationship audit liaison) and Document Control programs. This includes the audit of each process, reporting of standard metrics and ongoing CI program for the business unit.

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

·  Bachelor of Science Degree with emphasis in quality/food science/animal science.
·  2+ years’ experience in Quality or Commercial experience
·  Computer skills sufficient to use data input and retrieval systems, spreadsheets, word processors, etc
·  Travel Required: Less than 10%

Preferred Requirements:

·  Auditing experience
·  Experience in the food industry
·  Knowledge of Quality Management Programs related to internal audit and food safety certification requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

·  Internal audit process management to include maintenance of the business unit internal audit calendar, scope, and identification and training of competent and reliable auditor pool.
·  Verification of business unit / market unit standards compliance through a robust internal audit program.
·  Annual review of internal audit program findings to drive continuous improvement of business unit QMP processes.
·  Business unit LRQA audit liaison and relationship management to ensure business unit and MPCNA sites annual LRQA audit completion.
·  Document Control process management to ensure a sustainable document control process across business unit cross functional teams/documents.
·  Waiver process support to include but not limited to document form check, key stakeholder support and guidance, and data reporting within Nexus.
·  Reporting of period and quarterly metrics for auditing and document control processes.
·  Demonstrate a Quality Culture in Actions, Words and Spirit.
·  Other responsibilities as assigned.
