Packaging Industrialization Engineer

Long term contract (CDI)

The Packaging Industrialization Engineer allows the global development and deployment of innovation, in terms of technology solution in every market, ensuring the conformity of new packs to key quality attributes. You are accountable of new pack industrialization from design phase to pack qualification after launch. You collaborate every day with R&D, market leadership teams and factories and regularly with other functions like Marketing, Supply or Commercial.

What are we looking for?

·  You hold a master degree in Packaging or Engineering and are fluent in English and can speak French
·  Ideally you have more than 5 years' experience in leading and executing packaging projects in factories
·  You are knowledgeable of packaging materials, packaging equipment, packaging systems, and distributions systems of truck, rail and warehousing.

What would be your key responsibilities?

·  Design packaging solutions to support our innovation projects and update innovation process for specific packaging activities
·  Lead specification deployment for new packaging including pack design, case design, pallet configuration from global to local, ensuring consistent deployment of R&D practice, policies and projects.
·  Provide guidance and technical support to local Pack engineer
·  Provide technical support to R&D and Value Chain Operations teams to improve quality and efficiency, cost reduction and our environmental footprint
·  Close collaboration with relevant global and regional stakeholders as R&D, QFS, Marketing, Supply, Factories, IE, Engineering, Commercial at Royal Canin and other global and regional external stakeholders R&D Mars Petcare
