Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Rolla, Missouri

Shift: 3 weeks rotating shift (MTWThF-5a - 1p, 1p-9p, 9p-5a)

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

·  Support all company safety, health, environmental, and quality programs and policies and be responsible for managing the safety and health performance of the maintenance department

. * Perform troubleshooting, installation, routine maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.

·  Endorse the use of the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure downtime is minimized, plant performance is maximized, and all assets are preserved.
·  Perform complex troubleshooting, installation, routine maintenance and repair techniques on electrical components, instruments, computer/PLC controlled and mechanical equipment. Install and maintain Variable Frequency drives(VFD’S)

. * Demonstrate personal computer skills and use of electrical and mechanical programs

·  Responsible for PLC hardware and programming.
·  Requires ability to read electrical, mechanical and P&ID prints.
·  Perform rotating machine alignment.
·  Participate in plant projects when needed.
·  Assist process operators when necessary.
·  Complete all tasks assigned by Maintenance Manager.
·  Maintain high level of service and work performance, and also support and promote a positive and cooperative team environment which fosters creative problem solving and shared learning.

Minimum Requirements: Technical degree or certification in electrical / mechanical related field. Maintenance operations experience in industrial and/or process maintenance required, preferably in the manufacturing environment. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education requirements. Requires strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Needs to be detail-oriented and proficient with the use of computers.
